1965 Ford Mustang, a complete rotisserie restoration on a rust free accident free car. There was over $50,000 spent on this wonderful looking and performance vehicle. I have full pictures of the restoration that can be sent to you. The car has 3500 miles since completion. It was a professional build not a garage built car.
EXTERIOR: Complete disassemble of the car, motor, trans, suspension glass, trim, etc. The body was media blasted; a body kit was added, front spoiler, fender flares, and lower side skirts with exhaust cut outs, custom front grill with both upper and lower billet grills, headlight conversion. The body is very straight, door, hood and trunk gaps are excellent, the car received a high quality paint job that consists of a matt finish on the hood, roof, and trunk, the side are highly polished deep black in very nice condition with one small flaw to the driver side quarter panel ( 4 inch little flaw in the flare to fender gap). Both front and rear bumpers were re chromed, door handles, tail light bezels and window frames were powder coated black, the rear window trim was not and has been painted but has a little peeling at close inspection. The car sits on 16 inch wheels that fit nice front tires are 245/45/16 rears are the same there are 3500 miles on them. All new weather-stripping throughout the car.
INTERIOR: The interior was striped, the car has been dyna mated for sound deadening, the dash was smoothed, New dash board, after market upgraded gauges were added, Corbeu leather seats for the front with racing harnesses, a custom full cage roll car made and made to allow even a larger driver to easily get in and out of the car, the car uses a chipped battery cut key to get power to the car, the red switch on the dash engages the power and then a black push button ignites the beast. An after market steering wheel was added New carpet, new door panels. Battery has been relocated in the trunk.
MOTOR: The car started life as a 302, it now has a small block 427 cu in that dyno tunes at 513 HP revs to 8000 RPM, It is an aluminum head motor the car runs extremely well, the motor compartment is very clean the fire wall has been smoothed, all wires have been hidden, Upgraded carb, heads, headers, three inch stainless exhaust system with an electronic diverter to runs the exhaust through the mufflers (Dyna Max) or straight out of the side exhaust for maximum big block sound, this diverter is a power window switch located on the center of the drive shaft hump inside the car. Upgraded motor mounts, the transmission is a tremex 5 speed and double disc Mc cloud clutch. Upgraded radiator the car runs 185 all day. The suspension is a billet coils over fully adjustable, added upgraded traction bars, Tublar a arms, larger front and rear Willwood brakes with cockpit bias control. Axles were upgraded. The car handles excellent and stops very nice, it pulls hard in every gear and has been sorted. We took the car to Willow Springs Race way at it performed excellent.
I do have photos of the restoration and can send:
